Nike Metcon

Likely lots know already but Nike is looking to get in to the game with training shoes for Crossfit. They sponsor several Games athletes already.

The shoes are supposed to release Jan. 31. I personally loved my Nike Frees and am looking to pick a pair of these up at launch. Nice to have more alternatives

Re: Nike Metcon

Not too keen about the green sole or the orange toe box, so it looks like I'll be going with the black metcons. These are supposed to be really good from what I have heard.

Looking to price it in the same range as Reebok Nanos too.

Re: Nike Metcon

I'd imagine that more retailers are going to be carrying these shoes as they are Nike and probably won't be handled like how reebok has separated their crossfit brand from other reebok products. It will be nice to try them on in a store

Re: Nike Metcon

Took them long enough to release it. Didn't we see Nike athletes get these a year ago? I almost forgot about them except for the occasional facebook reminder that they still exist out there somewhere.

Re: Nike Metcon

i am very excited about these shoes because i think that competition is great and maybe that will force Reebok to start treating their customers right.

with that said, i am so happy with my Nano's that i am having a hard time imagining how these can be better.
