Did first WOD... 30k on a bike?

Ok, I'm new. 30/6'1/217 Down 15lbs over past 3 months since we have new flight crew weight restrictions.

So I didn't have a bike -- went to the gym instead. Hopped on the only bike in the gym and it had a broke gauge. All I know is it took an hour on the dot to get to 2.00 of unknown distance (0.50 in 15min at 110-120rpm). Wore a hoodie with the hood up the entire time.

Not bad for a guy that decided today to clean himself up -- case of beer last week and half a pack a day.

There's a section for Workout Logs. Might wanna start one and include this.

Typically, people post intros and newbie questions. If this is your first WOD, get set for what's to come...

If you haven't already, be sure and read the "Start Here" and "FAQ" sections of the mainsite.

Totally. Today's WOD is a complete aberration. It's consistent with CF's philosophy, but you still won't often see a 30K bike (much less any biking) show up on mainsite.

In fact this is the first time I've seen ANY biking. Ever (at least in the 2 or 3 years I've been following it).

Most WoDs will be intense and fairly short. Just make sure you scale appropriately!

Congratulations on your commitment to a new lifestyle. I was just like you back in February of 2010. Check out my log in the workout section under "My Midlife Crisis" if you would like to see what you should look forward to. You will be amazed at what progress is possible in a fairly short time.
