Hey everyone, been following CrossFit for about two months now (just got two t-shirts to support the program and signed up for the newsletter! i love this stuff) and I'm looking at buying a new Suunto watch.

Im just curious what kind you all have, and any pros/cons you think they have.

A little info about my activities. Mostly do CrossFit these days, with a few 3-4 mile runs (used to run XC and Track, 10+ miles, etc.), I hike, and I'm also deploying to Iraq in about a month and a half.

I was planning on getting the Suunto Advizor

any thoughts?

Ive had the Advisor for about 5 years with no problems. Its a great watch and Suunto has great customer service (they sent me a brand new one last year when the warranty had already been up for 2 years). The only drawback is its a little bulky. Make sure you get some extra batteries (2032s I believe) to take with. The same one fits the heart rate monitor and the watch. Stay safe....

Would have to agree the Advisor is the way to go. I am in Iraq right now and have beat mine to and it just keeps going. The interval timer is straight up the street, and the HRM woorks with most of the gym equipment scattered about the sand here. I got mine at the PX and saved a bundle (75 bucks)

Good luck
Keith
