Sorry if I missed this but has anyone actually seen one of these yet? If so, what were your impressions?

John, there are some photos on my website.
I'll post some user feedback once my order comes in and I get some time using them.

Mine were delivered yesterday. I'm not super experienced with kbells so take this for what it's worth I guess...

The 16 & 24 are just about identical in height, they both contact my arm a hair below my wrist bone (6'-3" 215lbs). I've used DD & Iron Woody bells before and as I remember, the KBC handles are thicker. Personally, this isn't an issue to me as I don't mind the extra grip work.

The bells, according to my UPS tracking, were sent out late on Friday night & were at my door early Monday.

KBC's inital shipment headaches aside, I'm happy with the bells & dealing with Dave. Thumbs up.

Got mine this morning. A 16kg and a 24kg. Nice finish, smooth handle--no sanding required. Handle is thicker than some as stated above, but I dont mind either. Took a while, but I think I paid around $95 for both, delivered. Cant beat that.

How about some action shots with your new kettlebells?

Jamie

I'd be interseted in seeing a good pic too. For high reps no paint is better then paint even if the paint is smooth. I'm picking up my Ironwoody's Friday and I'll still sand the handles.

Bill anbd Frank,

Here are some photos of the KBs. Dont know how well you can make out the finish. They are painted, but the surface is very sooth overall and Im sure its smooth underneath the paint. Just need to sand the paint off the handle if its an issue.

Finish is nice, too much handle and not nearly enough bell on the 16kg. Even the DD 16kg is too small and this is clearly smaller. The Ironwoody is much better in the lighter weights for this reason.

Just got my 40kg/88lb KBC bell today!
I bet the UPS guy doesn't want to deliver to my house again. I just finished doing some of Coach Rut's DB training, plus ring work and front squats before this came; but will get some very limited action shots (hopefully)in the next few days.
