Re: Karen PR!!

If you did it as Rx'd, that's a great time. Looking at the times logged on Beyond the Whiteboard, that would place you about #55 out of 1273 scores reported as of this morning, up there with a lot of the names I've seen at the CF Games. Faster than a few of them too.

And there's a good chance some of the super-low times (i.e. sub 5 minutes) or the ones where people entered fake names aren't exactly accurate or done with good ROM standards...seeing how my best FGB score was 33 unbroken wall balls in a minute, I've got a hard time believing that someone could sustain a pace faster than that for 4+ minutes. There's nothing you can do to speed up the ball dropping back down.

Re: Karen PR!!

Thanks fro the info, I saw the Logitall stats and I was top 15, I am almost 6 feet tall so bigger squat less throw height. not sure if higher throw or longer squat makes a difference. I am thinking to be faster I will just have to get more unbroken. I think my sequence was like 50reps, 20, 5 (half way), 15, 10 (100), 15, 20, 15.

Re: Karen PR!!

Scott, congrats on your Karen time! That's one of my favorite WODs...the beauty of it is in the simplicity and low cost of equipment involved

Having said that...as my conditioning progressed, my Karen times plummeted. I was doing CF at my base gym, which has a mini box inside with plenty of Dynamax balls and other stuff. However, there were not height lines drawn on the wall, so I used "Kentucky Windage" when throwing the ball up. Later on, I made a medicine ball and measured 10 feet of height on the side of my house...and, suddenly, my Karen times dramatically increased despite using a lighter medicine ball!
