When are you fit enough to deserve to wear a Crossfit Tshirt?

I have been doing crossfit for a few years now. My numbers are still pretty lame although I have made significant gains. I don't go to an affiliate - I have my own little set up at home. I want a crossfit Tshirt but really don't feel like I am even close to deserving one. I am certainly NO WHERE close to "Forging elite fitness." I give it 100% everytime but does the crossfit community really want someone wearing a crossfit tshirt who can only do 3 pull ups and who's crossfit total is only 380?? (I did have shoulder surgery 1 year ago) I really want a tshirt but almost feel like I need permission to wear one!

You have permission to buy and wear a CrossFit shirt with pride.

Christy,
It's forging not forged. You, like the rest of us, aren't done yet. Wear the T-shirt, you earn it every WOD.

If you've ever sweat through your clothes, kept going when you wanted to quit, set a PR on workout, then you deserve it.

i used to feel like a fraud the first couple times i wore my st. pat's day CF shirt out. no pullup, still pudgy, can't run for crap...

but you're working towards firebreather status! that's all that matters. wear the shirt with pride!!!

Re: When are you fit enough to deserve to wear a CrossFit Tshirt?

I bought my first CF shirts a few months after starting when I was in even poorer shape than I am now. No CF cops ever showed up to stop me from tarnishing the CF image

You need to get some new friends!!!!!!

My CrossFit (and hyperfit) shirts motivate me especially if i'm working out outside where people can see me.

Alrighty - thanks everyone. I am going to get a crossfit tshirt. And Bob very good point. If I am wearing my Crossfit Tshirt - then I better work my *** off. I am going to buy shirt right now. You all rock. I love crossfit and even love the community more. I wish this was around when I was in my 20's.
