Interesting, thanks. I know how you feel about eating enough food, and I weight nearer half as much as you. One of the benefits of eating more veg and no bread, for me at least, is that I actually feel hungry sometimes...

Dittos to the gymnastics skills; handstand pushups are so far away for me. I've got myself up to 8 muscle ups without dismounting the rings, but that's about the only skill I have in that arena. Parallett work is really tough for me, and keeping good pullup numbers is a constant battle. John, your CF total numbers make me ashamed of myself, something to strive for. how do your keep your joints together at those loads?
I am suprised you cant do hand stand pushups...i found those easier then muscle ups. As for the joints they have stayed together. i am not sure if it genetic or just luck but i have had a few surgeries and everything feels pretty good. try some alieve if you are feeling beat up.

John,
I you dont mind me asking what kind of shakes do you take in? I drink about 2 - 3 shakes a day because I get stuck working and dont want to eat junk. I love Pre-digested Whey Protein Shakes with low carb and low fat and tastes like a Milk Shake. Some of them are a little rough. I cant even remember the brand I order a 5 gallon bucket on the internet.

Re: Biggest Dude Doing Crossfit

Doug, you are a big dude...maybe it is just Ohio.
I am 6' tall, but I hit 300 on December 31, 2006. I started walking...jogging...running...and other stuff, and started watching what I ate. By October of 2007, I was down to 265, and started crossfit. I am now just under 240, and haven't lost much weight in the last couple months, but am still losing inches. I could write a lot on here, but instead, I'll just leave it at

I keep switching up my protein. I like the the muscletech and EAS stuff. I mix the whey with whole milk and almonds or almond butter. That covers my bases with protein, carb and fat. Try to weigh and measure the amounts and count the shake in your total blocks for the day. It works for me.
