Pyrros Dimas training : inspiration

I didn't know in which section I should post this. I just wanted to share this video of Pyrros Dimas' training for those who didn't know it.

He just makes oly lifting look easy, I'm always blown away by his power. Truely inspirationnal, makes you want to go for PR's right away !

i've had that in my favorites for a while. his jerk is insanely fast (it almost looks like there's a couple of frames missing).

This was taken (stolen) from the IronMind 1993 WWC Training Hall video tape. I highly recommend getting this tape.

Absolutely awesome. Dimas was a machine. I would be curious to know what he's into today. If he still trains? If he's evolved from olympic lifting to some other form of lifting?

All the best,
Arden

I want to get that tape, there a some parts of it on youtube and it just looks unreal !

And yes they removed it a few months ago. I'm not sure how you could get the video on yout computer, you have to browse thru your downloaded internet files on your computer or something. Someone else could explain it better than me perhaps ^^

Re: Pyrros Dimas training : inspiration

Morals aside,

Watch the vid and before closing the window find and copy the file from your 'Temporary Internet Folder.' If you're running Vista, this can be difficult to find but its there.

Otherwise, search for "Download Youtube videos" in a search engine. There are quiet a few sites that provide this service. You may need a player like VLC to watch the .flv's though.

Search for DownloadHelper plugin for Firefox. And get that DVD. It's also got Chakarov's 270 kg triple "no-no-no" back squat. Here's the link: http://www6.mailordercentral.com/iro...sp?number=1297 (SFW)
