Fruits???

I know this is just about the stupidest ? ever but... how much does fruit play a role in the paleo/primal diet? Is it kind of like veggies in that I can eat almost as much as I want or should fruit be limited based on how much sugar can be present?

Re: Fruits???

If you are trying to lose weight, you might want to consider limiting fruit to 2-3 pieces a day and avoiding the high sugar types (eg, ripe to overripe bananas). If you are maintaining your desired weight, don't worry to much about it within reason.

Re: Fruits???

Im losing weight on the paleo diet, and I eat as much fruit as I want at breakfast and lunch, but I don't eat fruit after say 4pm.
I know thats not the best advice, but it has been working for me. I usually have a banana and some nuts after school, then just have meat and veggies for dinner.
