First day back after baby! She was born on her due date, June 1, so I was out for exactly 6 weeks after delivery. Recovery hasn't been too bad, but I was amazed at how tough everything felt today!

7/13 - Squatting @ noon

Cluster - 1 rep every 20 seconds @ 90% (73)

Set 1 - 6 reps
Set 2 - 4 reps
Set 3 - 4 reps

Cluster - 5-4-3-2-1 reps with 15 seconds rest between @ 2/3 max (53)

Felt good to be back, although I can't believe how hard that felt.

Down the shore - Sun 7/21 - back squat up to a few sets of 3x35 KG ? and strict press 3x3 @ 20KG. Lots of walking

Friday 7/26

Strongman fridays

Atlas stone to shoulder work (both lap to shoulder and one motion from the ground) - 50 lb stone

Conditioning - 3 minute partner AMRAP stone to shoulder. 25 first round (13 mine), 27 second round (14 mine) with 50 lb stone.

First time using the atlas stones, they are tough, but this was a fun class. I hope to be able to work with the 75 lb stone soon, but taking it easy getting back.

Taking a few minutes to pull my pre-pregnancy PRs to refresh my memory:

Back squat - 190
Front squat - 165
Deadlift - 225
Press - having trouble finding these numbers but I think it was 72 pre-preg, and I hit 75 while pregnant
Bench press - 92
Overhead squat - 98 (while pregnant)
Snatch - 41 KG
Clean - 57 KG
Clean and jerk - 55 KG

1 BW pullup

Fri 8/2 630pm

Side sled pulls
75-90-100 These lateral movements still feel a little weird in the hips post partum, so not pushing it.

AMRAP in 8 minutes of: Deadlift, Box Jump (24-for men and women) – 16 reps, Rest. Your score is your number of DLs multiplied by your team’s chosen load.

I was in a team of two - we used 70 lbs (axle = fat bar) and got 110 reps. I did 3 rounds of 24" step ups, and probably 60 of the dead lifts.

Thurs 8/8

HSPU skill work - I still easily have the tripod, kick up to handstand, and can do negatives. Not even close to pushing up out of the bottom though - combination of loss of strength and the baby weight.

CONDITIONING: AMRAP in 15 minutes of:

1 Legless Rope Climb (subbed 2-3 strict pullups (AVG band to start and then AVG+mini)
Handstand Thigh Slaps – 5 reps per side (walked up the wall about 2/3)
False Grip Ring Rows (Supinated Grip) – 10 reps
Hollow Rocks – 15 reps (one leg)

6 rounds plus 3 pullups

Getting in to the gym is tough these days with my schedule, so every workout feels hard! I'd really like to drop some more weight as my loss seems to have stagnated with about ~15 to go to pre-baby. I'm going to try to work on cleaning up my diet as I know that's the best route dropping fat, and then the workouts will hopefully fall into place in the coming months.
