Are your goals more on the aesthetic side or perfromance?

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

I plan to get out down to 10%, which I think is a safe optimal crossfit BF %. Once I get there I will increase my fat to balance energy needs. At endstate my goal is to increase performance but in order to do so I need to cut some extra BF.

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

Just curious, how exactly do you think you lost 2% BF in a week? Just so you know, that's not humanly possible at your size without the use of gear.

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

Since I am deployed and don't have access to a BodPOD or Dexascan, I use the online calculator at www.zonediet.com (WFS). Based on weight, waist, neck and wrist size the calculator said I lost 2%. I wont debate the validity of the BF% results but it is at least "something" that I can use to quantify the results.

Nevertheless I am still progressing...which is great!

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

Well I'm happy for you! I'll be honest, I'm surprised at all the fruit you're eating; There's a lot of sugar in all that fruit, but apparently your body can handle it. If you've got access to dairy of any kind, like cheeses or milk, you might look into that as it can provide a good bit of fat and cals if you're feeling low. Good to hear that everything is progressing though! Good luck moving forward!

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

Well just wanted to let everyone know I still am moving along. I was looking into IF yesterday and added it to my diet. Saturday afternoon (EST) I will add my latest measurements.

Re: Strict Paleo Zone

Just weighed in today....I'm down to 178! Now that I am within 8 lbs of my goal and have 2 months to go, I am going to add in 2 X fat and a high carb post recovery meal.
