Coconut milk

Im switching diary with coconut milk. The problem is I dont like its taste and Im looking for ides to make it better? Something paleo style, not just "drop 2 spoons of sugar in"

Just to be clear, Im talking about coconut milk thats roughly made from 60% coconut, total 180kcal per 100ml.

Re: Coconut milk

Try different brands if you've got options. I've had a few that taste horrible and a few that are great.

Re: Coconut milk

Try mixing with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. (In addition to trying different brands).
I use the Thai kitchen organic one in a can. PCC here in Seattle has it for a hair over $2 a can.

Re: Coconut milk

Will try different brand, thou the market here is very low stocked.

I try to avoid almonds while testing this new diary free "diet".
Will give vanilla a try!

Re: Coconut milk

Yeah, put in a bit of a good quality vanilla. It just takes a small amount and makes it pretty good.

Re: Coconut milk

Trader Joe's light coconut milk is always 99 cents for a can. I think it is absolutely delicious.

I know what you mean. Last time I went on a dairy-free diet, I really struggled to stay off of macadamia nuts.
