Lifting Platform complete... here's the pic!

Took the day off today to build our lifting platform. Built just like all the others on this board... I used screws instead of glue so I can take it apart later if I have too. How do I do a thumbnail?????

Just use the insert image button and link it from wherever it's hosted. Photobucket works.

Bob, that looks really good. I like it a lot.

I also like the use of car jacks holding your oly bar

Yeah, my wife uses the bar only a lot, and I hated her frustration with my griping about her form, so I grabbed the jackstands... no more griping from me, and her form is great!

Next, I'm going to make some plywood dummy plates....

That looks great Bob. Also, flipping through your other pictures, I love the framed Kramer portrait on the wall. That's classic.

Please DON'T do this. Please upload the image as an attachment. That way, we get a nice little thumbnail to click, AND it saves me having to delete the huge freakin' image.

Did you stain and clear coat it , or is it just the lighting? I plan on putting two in my place but would like to stain and clear coat them . Just wondering if it would effect the surface to much.
