Thanks, Coach. Most of my workouts have revolved around competitive powerlifting, but after a 4 month bout with a misdiagnosed systemic bacterial infection (and bad reactions to prescribed drugs), I'm finally trying to get in serious shape. The WOD just about kills me each time, and I'm nowhere near being able to use the prescribed loading.

Keep Crossfit growing.

Scott:

Keep plugging away. We all have our limitations. I've got a hernieated disc at L4-L5. Everyone has something. I have been doing crossfit for something like one year. When I started, I NEVER could do the perscribed loads. Now, sometimes I surprise myself and can do them. Other times it is like my first day and I am nowhere near the perscribed loads. I think that is pretty normal. Only a true iron munching, knuckle-dragging, freak of an athlete is doing these as perscribed everytime. I am hoping to join that group one day. Until then, just enjoy the ride and the improvement.
