A Gym for Chicago Crossfitters

I am starting a new thread because the old one does not seem to work anymore after the administrator moved it.

So just to recap here is the link for the gym:

Located at Roosevelt & Michigan in downtown Chicago
I officially started this week. They have a lot of great equipment there such as:
reverse hyper, glute ham machine, water rower, climbing rope, med ball rebounder, med balls, pull-up bars, heavy bags....etc

The only thing missing are some rings, which I may pony up the cash soon.

I hope other Crossfitter might start coming it is the best set-up I have seen in Chicago.
It would be great to work-out as a little group!

Regarding the other lost link on this same subject, I had mention that I lived around Damen and Division. I forgot the name of the other crossfitter in the area. Please post again your email, THANKS

I wanted the name of the OLY coach. Thanks a lot for the info. Maybe I'll take some lessons from those guys. I really need some help with my snatches.

I am glad you found a great place to train in Chicago! Have you enlightened them on Crossfit yet?

Dave, I found this thread while doing a search. I will be up in Chicago area for Navy Basic and then A-School. I was looking for a good gym to continue my CrossFit workouts (after basic of course) I was curious to see how you still liked the place? Have you had any trouble with some things you've tried to do such as Oly lifting? I know thats a sore spot with most of these sissy gyms around here in Tex.

Tyler,

This reply is VERY late sorry no time for internet in awhile. THe place is great theyt have everything you need even a climbing rope. They are very open to new things. One of the trainers is looking to put up some rings. They do not have a platform but they are willing to work with anyone on there needs.

I'm in Chicago and a 5 month (slow) crossfitter!
I workout at Clark Street Multiplex... ok place... equipped decently for functional type work but not like that place.
I'm goinG to come down and check it out.

that gym sounds great. dave, how often do you train down there? it would be cool to have a group to do the wod with everyday. its kinda far for me, but i have nothing else important to do, so i could easily take the "el" down there.

i would pitch in for some rings too.
