The NAKF is holding another competition in February, this one appears tailor made for CrossFitters. Hope a bunch of people can compete in this one!

2. Long Cycle Kettlebell Clean & Press for max reps using two, 24Kg kettlebells
3. USMC Pull-Ups for max reps

5. Shouldering a 100# sandbag, floor to shoulder, max reps in two minutes

Ok, I'll bite....what's "secret service" style? Wear a wire in your ear, whisper into your shirt cuff, and never smile?

Don't forget code names! "Blue leader, Mitymous is in the house. Hide the pullup bar."

One of their units has a PT test that involves max 24 kg. snatches in 10 minutes. Switch hands as often as you like.

I just found out the competition is being held on the 26th...and I was just reminded that I have to be in Milwaukee that day to fly out to Cancun the next. No competition for me unless I can talk Crossfit Racine (Hi Ryan!) into hosting an informal meet for one competitor - I'll bring my own kettlebells if needed!

Hi Kelly,

You're always welcome. Your upcoming visit has just given me a much needed kick in the rear. Count me in on participating in the competition. Thanks. I'll e-mail you with some of the particulars.

Ryan

UPDATE:

I recently talked to Jim Haines, President of the NAKF. He said that competitors can participate at Crossfit-Racine and still be counted in the official results. Competitors are required to be members of the NAKF ($40/annual fee) and an additional fee will be involved to cover insurance charges for the event. The charge will vary (in Racine, anyway) depending on participation levels (i.e. more competitors = lower fee). Please e-mail me by the end of this month if you plan on competing at my facility.

Thanks,

Ryan
