we're putting together a lot of muay thai/CF hybrid wods at our box, I'll be sure to capture as many of them as possible on vid and post. If anybody has any ideas for wods please post them and we'll give suitable ones try. Feel free to post any footage you have as well.

Were the tires hard on his feet? Cause surely he'd find more traction kicking and deadlift better barefoot?

Nail on the head fella, the tyres were too much on the feet so he wore trainers for it. Craig is a fast, powerful kicker. He's English, British and European Champ at a few weight classes, he's fough and won on several occasions at the rajadamnern stadium and has beaten lenty of former world champs along the way. If he kicked barefoot it'd be better but he'd have taken skin off on the GHD's.

Btw have you heard of Mick Coup before? If not his C2 selfdefense combative system is very worth checking out. One of the finest teachers in both the spoken word and face to face (as well as being a awesome example of what he preaches). Obviously self defense isnt sport fighting but there is still useful carry over.

Dude, I trained in parks for years. If it wasnt a park it was a football pitch or something like that. Rings from trees, tree branch muscle ups the lot. I got pretty damned fit and strong to be honest.

It was all character building as well, come rain sleet or snow I'd be out thrashing myself.
