It was gross to see him go on about how they were throwing bombs. Slobs 3 min. into a fight with their hands on their hips don't throw bombs. This episode should, hopefully, open some people eyes to this hype machine that White has created. I know he has to sell the product but he needs to be a little more subtle about it.

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

Something people forget is that they have limited time to workout on these shows. So a lot of time is spent on skill work and sparring. I remember an interview with someone, can't remember exactly who, from one of the earlier seasons that said they were very limited on how much time they had to workout. He said they were watched very closely at the house and if they tried to workout they were shut down pretty quickly. So I'm sure with the limited time they have to train and workout the conditioning gets pushed to the wayside. In real life they'd probably use their time smarter and condition, but on the show they're kind of at the coaches mercy.

Also Rampage vs. the door was awesome. But, I heard Cecil Peoples said the door was pushing the pace of the fight and controlling the tempo. He also said Rampages leg kicks weren't doing much damage so they didn't score. He had the fight 29-28 Door.

I've hated Dana White since they broadcast that 'fight' between him and Tito Ortiz where Tito bailed before the fight. Wasted an hour of my life. I'd like to take that hour back from Dana White with a hammer...

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

The Marcus Jones fight slightly relieved the dehabilitating mediocrity of the fights this season. That was a right quick arm bar!!!

Good to know that someone on the show has a decent ground game. He was impressive in the short time he fought. However, if Wessel had kept it standing, it might have taken a different turn.

I definately would've jumped ship if I was one of the guys on Rampage's team. Not only for the extra coaching but because it's clear that Rampage has no idea what the hell he's doing as a coach.

Agreed.
Plus, did you notice that this was the only time he went into the ring after a fight -- because Marcus won.
That's showing the love for your team -- only be there for them when they win.

Re: TUF 10 - heavyweights

Last night's fight was decent. Well, the first round was actually pretty good, I thought, even though the second round was a bit slow.

But 2 judges scored it 20-18 for Roy Nelson???

WTF!

unbelievable.

Seriously, I watched the fight over again this morning, and I thought Wren totally controlled the first round, landed more shots, and definitely landed more powerful shots. How it wasn't AT LEAST a draw, after 2 I'll never know.

lame
