(safe)

Green tea hasn't been fermented during processing, so it is believed to contain more nutrients (the oxidation during fermenting destroys some fragile nutrients).

There's also white tea, which is even younger than green tea. Both green and white tea are pretty good. They are drunk without milk which makes them attractive to the paleo crowd.

Alot of hype about green tea. BUT regular coffee holds up to 4 times more antioxidants, which is the substance you'd go for with green tea. And espresso's even better ...

Yes but green tea has other things in it to blunt negative affects of caffeine and harmful compounds in joints.

What about yerba mate? It supposedly has a far greater amount of antioxidants than green tea.

Yerba mate is great stuff. The process of consuming it via guampa and bombilla is always enjoyable.

It's a South American tea derived from a bush in the Holly family. It's loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and even amino acids.
