I like this match up much more than Tito vs. Coleman. I still think Tito will take this via UD. I dont think will see much difference in this fight, from their first fight.

This will be a good fight to see where Forrest's head is at. If he's refocused and has is head right I think he'll beat Tito, but if he looks like crap then we'll see that Silva broke more than his nose.

The seems like a lose-lose situation for the UFC. If Tito wins, Forrest will have lost 3 in a row. While he is the original ultimate fighter, the UFC has a habit of cutting guys after 2 consecutive loses. Undoubtedly Forrest won't be cut, but where does that leave him? His last "win" was over Rampage which furthers the Dana White / Vince McMahon comparisons.

On the other hand, if Forrest wins, Tito's comeback is ruined, and he is a fight or two away from being forced in to retirement by the UFC.

They're both undoubtedly "fan favorites". UFC can't lose with this match up. Noone will get forced into retirement based on the results of this fight.

I mean, Forrest might find himself in one of those "goat tied up to the fencepost" type fights, but he usually does well in those (see his fight vs Shogun)

I wouldn't really call the Silva fight a "goat tied to a fencepost" fight. What I mean is someone put out for the wolves, the wolves being a new fighter or someone coming back to the UFC.

Silva certainly looked like a wolf and Forrest looked like a helpless goat tied to a fence post to me....
