Wow. It almost feels to me as if there's a new protein thread started every day or two. Maybe I'm getting protein thread sensitivity.

Re: What protein powder do you use?

More thumbs up for AtLarge. On a different thread someone was mixing Results Blue Raspberry and Chocolate Nitrean+. It seriously tastes like a Tootsie Pop.

They have really good sales and often. Like them on Facebook or sign up for notifications as some of the sales only last for a day.

Chris, please dont take this as offense, its just a question.

If my metric conversion is correct, your Nitrean+ product is 2kg for $62.95 USD

Here in Australia, the protein everyone I know uses is http://www.bulknutrients.com.au/buy/...d-2kg/WPC02KGF which for 2kg is $49 AUD

According to the websites of both products, they both have 23g of protein per 30g serving. Less carbohydrates in the Aus product.

Protein is protein to me. USD / AUD is roughly the same. So why the big price difference?

Re: What protein powder do you use?

I found Stronger Faster Healthier Recovery worked better for me than others I have tried. Since it like two hundred dollars a serving, I tend to get whatever at Costco or from the local nutrition store in town. Plus the SFH takes like poohpooh.

Right now-Muscletech Phase 8. The local guy said it was pretty good and gave me a good deal. It is strawberry and by far the best tasting protein powder I have used. It's loaded with sinful, non-paleo, **** off the true believers stuff. It is yummy though so if it works I guess it is a win-win.

I have used and like At Large Nutrition I am just not forward thinking enough to order it enough in advance that I don't run out waiting for shipping. I kinda feel bad since Chris is always so helpful 'round these parts.

No offense at all. The answer is protein isn't protein. That product is all whey protein concentrate. Whey concentrate is the cheapest form of whey. Per 100g of powder it has supposedly 76.5g of protein which makes it roughly 76% protein by weight. Nitrean+ has 3 kinds of whey with isolate being primary. It also has casein and egg proteins. The blend provides for a superior net retention and utilization when compared to any whey-only powder. Finally, I think their label is b.s.
