OHS and DL lifts

Videos from Sunday's WOD...

http://youtube.com/my_playlists?p=097C9772DAB103A1 (WFS)

Please keep in mind that it was the first time I tried for OHS max (I had never been over 65 lbs before). Some of the lighter weight are actually more 'wobbly' than the heavier weight. it just took me a little to adjust to the weight, but I think I did ok.

Karin

Comments welcomed (I do know I lost my back in the DL PR... but it was a PR ;-))

Re: OHS and DL lifts

Karin, there is a problem with the link. It is your play list.

Re: OHS and DL lifts

The OHS form is great. You're solid at the bottom !

And as I see it, your back is ok during your DL PR you do an outstanding job working on your form in all movements and it clearly pays off !

Re: OHS and DL lifts

Nice work! I think what caused the rounded back in the PR deadlift is that your hips start to move up before the weight moves. Really focus on keeping your upper-back held tight and not allowing your legs to move unless the weight moves with them. But hey at a max effort your form will suffer a bit keep up the good work!
