I've been doing Crossfit for a year now, and I still haven't got over to Crossfit North to check their s%$# out.

Anybody else in Seattle? Do you all hang out down at Sandpoint, or are there other stay-at-home Crossfitters around here? Any at UW?

Talk to me -

Dude

You're at the U and haven't made it the 1.5 miles to Sandpoint? What's up with that?

1.5 miles, Man there's no excuse for that. Seriously Nick, they are good guys at CrossFit North. Use the 1.5 miles as a warmup Sat. and go see them.

I plan on it the first Saturday of every month, then something always comes up. Are they still doing the 1 free session thing?

I'm in Seattle, since I can't get in the IMA anymore (graduated, in the Navy now). I too need to find a place to workout. I usually go to the old pit (outside the ROTC building) and do whatever I can there. But for Oly lifts, that's out the window. Guess I oughtta check out crossfit north as well. Unfortunately gym memberships aren't attractive to me, since my ship and therefore I are gone quite a bit.

So you can call me a stay-at-homer...I just don't have any equipment at home...

Aushion,

I used to live near the UW, but didn't go to school there. So I used the ROTC pit as my gym for years.

Now, I'm over in Wallingford. I have bb's, db's, improvised cb's and kb's, as well as climbing ropes, dip bar, parallettes, med balls, a barrell, tire sled, etc. You can do pretty good without a gym, trust me.

Email me if you ever want a WOD buddy. Maybe I'll see you at Crossfit North - if I ever make it down there...

Yeah, Gary's the guy who got me into this stuff. Used to be Navy ROTC at the UW.

He's going on a thai boxing and rock climbing trip around the world this year, 6 months. Crazy bastard.

Awww...you don't happen to have his number do you, you don't have to post it here...but I need to get him his old UFC/Vale Tudo tapes I've had for almost 2 years...

Yeah Gary is crazy, last I heard he was in Oregon...we did ROTC together, and then started working out....

Anyway, I'll send you an e-mail and if you have his number I'd appreciate getting it...you can ask him first if you'd like.

Aush
