my journal log record data compilation list

This is my first entry. Most of my workouts are recorded on paper in a notebook, but better here, now, than not now...

After WU, I did a "Fight Gone Bad" with a few substitutions, due to the equipment available.

one min of each of the following, followed by one minute of rest, for four rounds, rather than just three
I lose count in a feverish effort like these types of workouts, especially when I am the timekeeper for the group...

Pull ups (about 15-20 each round)
Box jumps (about 15-20 each round)
SDHP 55lb (about 20-25 each round)
Sit ups (20-25 each round)
DB thrusters 15 lb each hand (about 20 each round)

Recover, put everything away, then 50 double unders.

it was an excellent workout. My son loved it!

Re: my journal log record data compilation list

Date: 01/05/08 It was a Monday, much like any other day. Except this time I was going to be the animal I always wanted to be. Well, maybe next time.
I really need to be pushed through some of these.

My deadlifts, rather, all my loads really suck, but I am old and cannot afford to hurt myself.
Deadlift 185 x 5, 225 x 3, 225 x 3, 225 x 3, 205 x 3
Oh well.

Felt tired and sluggish in warm up. Congested and sickly. Decided to make this and the next few days rest days.
Thank you

Really trying to stay out of the gym. Joints are feeling better. Still sick, not sleepiong well. Jones-ing, big time, for a good workout. Probably go in tomorrow. See if I can destroy some of the progress I have made in healing.

Re: my journal log record data compilation list

Friday, January 9, 2008
Deadlifts 3 x 205
215
225
235
225
I know, kind of sad, but I am old.
Then, Hang Power Clean 1 x 135
145
145
150
155
I know, again, not so heavy, but it is for me. Personal best on both.

Looks like the rest did me good. I paid the price.

Re: my journal log record data compilation list

this is out of chrono order. Forgot to post these workouts
Saturday- 01/10/09. light fast fran empty bar, jumping pull ups, about 10 minutes. stopped to chat with kids and co-workers, several times, but still a little sweat.
Tuesday-01/13/09
Cindy in a hotel workout room. only 15 minutes, but I went hard and fast. I always lose count of my rounds, one day I will keep track.

145, 150f, 150f, 150f, 145 135 x 3, 135 x 3. It was frustrating. I need bumper plates. Trying to catch a max effort is hard!

Re: my journal log record data compilation list

i think that my old system of collecting each page in a binder is better than trying to keep up with this forum. I love the forum but it is not a good databse system for keeping up twith workouts.

It is however a great place to go and check out others and see if I am on track with "normal" people. By normal, I mean poeple like me, that have only a limited time to workout, and want to keep in great shape, but know they don't have the time to keep up with the fitness "gods" featured in this website.

I love crossfit.
