Title pretty well says it all. I want to gain around 15-20(Lbs) by summer. Is that do-able with a Paleo diet? I tried eating just paleo yesterday, and was hungry for most of the day. Ill try it again today and see how it goes. By the way Im only 130Lbs.

To gain weight you need to eat more calories than you burn. You can gain weight on any diet. If you felt hungry, you may not have eaten enough fat yesterday. Eat more nuts and seeds and you should feel satisfied.

Alright. I think I went overboard on the vegetables, and didn't buy enough seeds/nuts etc. Atleast I know to buy more next time.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, probably. Paleo doesn't limit calories at all, and if you're working hard (CF), then don't worry about your fat %. Around 60% is fine, as long as it's good fat (e.g. nuts, olive oil, meats, etc).

Getting over so much fat in my diet was really hard (used to be on the "30% or less fat" train), but it really makes a difference in all areas of performance PLUS you'll need the high calorie density to gain weight.

Also, don't forget that ancient hunter-gatherers had access to only one 'diet' (paleo) and I'm sure they were able to pack on some mass.

They were able to pack on some fat. That's what they used for fuel during a famine. But mass wasn't needed. You don't need to be massive to gather vegetables or toss a spear.
