equipment in the uk?

hello
does anyone know where i can get crossfit equipment in the uk? struggling to find places.
also i use a scaffold pole as a pull up bar but it tears my hands apart, is there anyway to make it easier to use? like sanding it down? tried putting some masking tape over it but it didnt do much!
thanks.

Re: equipment in the uk?

Morning Ed,

The wheels are in motion for an Again Faster Uk, in the next couple of weeks the site will go live and we'll also have stock available very soon. And I'm sure you are aware, their equipment and wide range of kit is very popular in the US.

You can contact me direct if you need ay further information.

The rest of the UK need to know this.........

Cheers, Dale

Re: equipment in the uk?

Hi Ed.
I am really new to crossfit but a very good brand is Rogue. They are an American company and apparently they do deliver to the UK (got an email from them yesterday). However, I have heard on the grapevine that they are going to open up Rogue Europe in the next couple of weeks (there will be a European tab on their website).
I personally would not know a decent Olympic bar if it hit me over the head - however, in my crossfit gym (Hertford) we have Rogue bars and they are apparently pretty good.
All the best
James.
