WOD Sites

I normally work out at an affiliate, but work on a military base and sometimes like to do my own thing. Other than the main CF site, does anyone have any favorite sites to pull WODs from?

Re: WOD Sites

I also like CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit One World, CrossFit Santa Cruz, and believe it or I've done some pretty good WODs from CrossFit Kids as well.

Re: WOD Sites

Pulling a random workout from whatever website you feel like visiting that day is a good way to get very mediocre results. Your natural inclination will be to cherrypick the workouts, and you won't get any kind of logical progression out of things.

OutlawCrossfit.com (not Outlaw way unless you plan on competing or have 1.5 hours to train - if so, then hit that)

I know people are usually inclided to pick workouts that play to the things they already to well, which is what I did for a long time. After watching a lecture Chris Spealler gave on programming biases, I'm pretty good about selecting workouts that focus on the things that I need to work on. Where I lack is knowing how many reps at what intensity, which is why I find workouts writng by others better than the ones I write on my own.

If you haven't already, consider CrossFit Fairbanks.

Check out our L2 program starting today. We're dropping the WestSide upper/lower split and going back to a push/pull system. I think it will work better for competitive exercising(some of the downfalls you mentioned are addressed among others) I'm still going to incorporate some of the ideologies, but it's too hard to work oly work + crossfit in. Should produce some good results. Also everyday will feature accessory work and trunk work so you don't have to wing that on your own
