Routine when sore

Hey guys/gals,

Question for you all. When you're really sore from a workout a day or two later, what kind of things do you do in the gym? I did 14.5 on Saturday, and am still feeling pretty beat up. I'm not a high-level athlete, so optimal recovery isn't necessarily needed, just want to do some sort of easy bodyweight routine or something, just to get the blood flowing and get a little sweat.

Don't have access to a rower, otherwise I think that would be my go-to. Maybe just some light jogging and some pushups/squats/pullups/situps?

Thanks all!

After doing some mobility movemets, how about some swings, push-ups, and goblet squats? Maybe 15 of each, 5 RFT?

Re: Routine when sore

I've experienced that after a general warmup I'm not that sore anymore and than I just train. If you feel like it is impossible to train properly what about just mobilizing, skilltraining or going for a walk/slow jog?

Re: Routine when sore

Quite easy.... I warm up longer than usual and then i take an easy day...

Lighter weights, lower reps, nice and easy pace, almost as if i am winging it.

I concentrate more on technique.

But still get a sweat but not wasted...
