First date

Hey everyone,

I've been weening myself into the CF workouts from a muscle hypertrophy/endurance/strength perspective (long story, and not the scope of the post, so ask if you're interested in that evolution). This includes getting back into the Olympic lifts (which were my favorite when I was still playing football) and learning some new ones (kipping primarily).

Anyway, I went on my first date yesterday, which was with Angie. I finished in 21:45. The pull-ups were my bane as I only had 60 reps completed at the 5 minute mark.

Anyway, this is my first official CF workout (since I'm weening myself into it from my existing type of lifting/workouts). I was wondering if there was some kind of database or standard set for the named workouts (girls or heroes) aside from the posts from when they were WOD's. I've been all over this website relentlessly for the last few weeks, so I may have missed it.

Re: First date

There is a section on the main page called exercizes. Keep scrolling till you get to a section called "The Girls". Good luck and welcome to crossfit.

Right, I've scoured this website, and I know what "The Girls" consist of. There aren't times associated with their explanations.

The "time" is whatever you get. You improve your own time. Don't worry so much about how you compare to others as the only person you can improve...is you.

My Zen for the day.

Re: First date

Folks, I get the concept of everything. I just didn't know if there was a compilation of "Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/Elite" times like there are for such things as the CrossFit Total.

Thanks.
