Tommy Kono book

I found this address and instructions to buy Lifting Olympic Style by Tommy Kono from Tommy:

To get your copy send a check or money order made payable to Tommy Kono (no credit cards or COD) in the amount of $34.50 (includes shipping and handling) to Hawaii Kono Company, P.O. Box 2192, Aiea, HI 96701.

Is this still valid? Amazon has the book for more than this, and I'd prefer to buy it from Tommy himself if possible. If purchasing method still works, I'd like to use it!

Should be good. And if you drop a note, he will autograph it.

Re: Tommy Kono book

I think I used his webpage and perhaps paypal. I don't remember sending a check. This was a few months ago.

The book is very large with lots of information (wfs):

It's on the bottom of the page.

Wow, cool. Thanks as Veronica just told me Mr. Kono has a book out and I was planning to go to his seminar in August. I just haven't gotten around to youtubing him at all yet.

glad you found this Blair. Hadn't gotten around to pointing it out to you.
If it's sore - ice it. If it's torn - tape it. If it's heavy - lift it!

That's what I did too. Had him sign it toward my son. He not only graciously signed the book but also signed a little "brief bio" photo insert.

He shipped quickly, and with Priority Mail it arrived much faster than I expected.
