Naturade Soy Meal Replacement: Not so Zoney?

I was wanting to get some audience participation on this. I picked up some Naturade soy meal replacement shake mix at Sam's, and I was wanting to know if it is Zone kosher. A single serving figures to 2 blocks each of protein and carbs, but most of the carbs are defined at sugars (13g to be exact). I checked the ingredients and the sugars are coming from fructose, is that OK? Or should this be avoided in favor of supplemental protein (no flavor, etc)? On a side note, this stuff is pretty good. Tastes like carnation instant breakfast.

Verdict please.

I'm sure it's Zone friendly

Human body friendly? Questionable.

I like to stay away from foods that mimic estrogen and have poor digestibility.

Death in cardboard. Loaded with Sugar, contains Soy.

If you're looking for a PWO make your own from scratch, if you're looking for meal replacement, shame on you, eat real food.

Re: Naturade Soy Meal Replacement: Not so Zoney?

Generally I have it before going to workout in the morning, easy to fix at 4am and all.

As far as this estrogen business, looks like I need to do more research. If anyone has helpful links I'd appreciate it.

Couple of cups of coffee at 5:00 am works for me, then no food till noon as I IF from 6pm-till noon next day. Some like to have something in their stomachs before workout, but as I get into a mean *** WOD, last think I want to do is be burping food, or seeing pukie. Few now are realizing you don't need food before or even after a workout. Nutrition is a pretty interesting subject and everyone has a different spin. Look how the fats have become our friends and the carbs are starting to get pushed to back burner, somewhat.

Just my two cents, but on the soy, forget it, Bean juice is bad news.
