Exercise to focus on tummy fat

I have been consistent with CrossFit for 3 mos and watching my diet. My arms and legs are getting stronger/toned but my stomach is going no where. What can I do to decrease tummy fat?

Thanks!

Angie

Diet, diet, diet.

I feel your pain. Basically, work hard, rest hard, clean up the diet bigtime. And when you've done all that and still have the fluff you can commiserate with me.

can we make that a table for 3?
Actually I'm done trying to lose my tummy and love handles. Eff it. Time to just get my grub on and get my numbers up. If the added muscle will aid in getting rid of the tummy in a futre "cut" fine.. if not EFF IT! lol. Like a female friend of mine once told me, "As long your pecs stick out more than your tummy, you're fine." lol.

I'm gonna try a little harder with the diet. I dont eat fast food, watching food documentaries on netflix really screwed me up. I hate love handles and gutt! ugh!

How much heavy lifting is in your programming?

Heavy lifting=more muscle mass=higher BMR=more fat burned.

Re: Exercise to focus on tummy fat

be consistent with your exercise and clean eating and it will change... time will bring about the changes. i am sure that there is much less tummy fat than when you started ..its just that as the rest of you becomes more toned and leaner the areas that dont tone at the same rate give the impression that nothoing is happening.

take some photos and compare in a couple more months you will see a startling difference

cheers

Helen

ps. I have always had a lean tummy but stored fat in my thighs. Just yesterday a friend was complementing me on how lean and muscled my legs had become.. its only taken till i am 60 LOL so be patient and it will happen
