I'd argue it's not less sausage it's quality, pastured, uncured sausage.

Good article but it doesn't address the real issue, most americans don't know what real food is anymore.

It's just meat, fat, and spices in a casing. Put good stuff in there, you have good sausage.

Sometimes those who are overly obsessed with 'natural' foods etc. amuse me. Longevity is MUCH more a function of genetics than anything else. If not, George Burns would not have lived nearly as long as Jack LaLanne...
