The 5 moves you should avoid in the gym (the best moves!)

Here are the five exercises the article says to avoid, plus one more that is implied but not explicitly mentioned:
Deep Squats
Deadlifts
Shoulder Presses
Bench Presses
Anything Heavy
Not mentioned but implied:
Olympic Lifts

The question I have after reading the article: how do you manage to break your tibia during Oly lifting?
Something in shoulder, sure; I can think of how to break your femur. But your tibia??? That must have been worse than most of the failed Snatch videos on Youtube.

as a person currently rehabbing two disc problems there is some wisdom in that article.

dont be silly!
my comment was measured in that i said there is "some" wisdom.

if an individual cannot bend down to take off or put on a sock then obviously they have physiological issues that need to be dealt with and therefore should not be doing lifting movements that will exacerbate those issues. I would also say that if those issues also mean that an individual has pain putting on clothes and picking things up from the floor then they should not be doing Oly lifts...

My physio is a crossfit person and we have worked hard together to get me back into CF. but I have needed to relearn many movements..just saying! this does not apply to all obviously but certainly is worthwhile taking note of because BAD form does lead to problems.
