Kettlebells

Are Ader Kettlebells comparable to the Dragon Door KB's. I have not found any KB's that can match the quality of Dragon Door's.

Re: Kettlebells

If you are going the DD type KB route, I suggest the cap barbell brand available at Christian's Fitness Factory (they have an ebay store). They are by far the most KB for the money. By far.
I will say, if I'd known how serious about KB's I was going to be, I would have bought the pro-grade KB's from Full Kontact Kettlebells (Steve Cotter's site) from the beginning. They are more expensive but they are true competition style KB's.
Still, if you are just starting out, and don'tknow if you are going to stick with it, go with Christian's.

Re: Kettlebells

Thanks for your reply, David. I will check Christian's out. I have been training with various brands of KB's for 5 years and have found that the ones with thinner handles and rubber or smaller bottoms make it difficult to perform certain exercises like the renegade row or bear crawls. Just looking for a cheaper version than DD but with the same quality as DD.

Re: Kettlebells

Has anyone ever gotten any KB's at Dick's Sporting Goods? I saw that they had them there but I am not sure how good they are. Just wondering.

Re: Kettlebells

Dick's is showing Gill kettlebells on their website. Are these the same ones sold by some of the crossfit equipment folks like AgainFaster?

Re: Kettlebells

I am pleased with the cost and quality of the Power-systems KB's. As far as the competition KB's go, I personally don't like them. I would rather a thicker handle that you get on the PS and DD KB's. I have no intention on competing so why pay the extra?

Re: Kettlebells

Try muscledriverusa.com (v2) and lifelineusa.com

At lifeline you pay separate shipping on each bell you buy but with muscledriver the shipping is combined.

The Dick's near me is selling "GoFit" kettlebells that have a rubber coating that ranges in color from hot pink to neon green. Also the price they charge isn't that much better than what you can find online with shipping.
