Josh, great idea! For those that don't know Josh wanted to plan something special for Memorial Day this year, maybe we can make it an annual thing. Josh is going to be doing "Murphy", I was thinking some people might want to do that or other Hero workouts, or even multiple hero workout, ala Sue on Veteran's Day. What would you want on the T-shirts?

I'm not sure who decides the hero workouts, most likely it's coach at HQ. You can do 2 things, a) send an e-mail to HQ and mention it, or b) we create one and do it ourselves and post it on the boards.

Hope everyone is looking forward to another exciting week at Albany CrossFit. Remember we will be starting some half-intensity WODs, they are not mandatory, but listen to your body.

BP: Got up to 80lbs


Memorial Day Hero Workout t-shirts are a great idea!

I am totally in for skydiving, i have always wanted to go.

You should write Coach and mention it. Maybe make up a WOD of some kind. The Heros are normally only two or three HARD exercises, put together in some combination of high reps. You should think of your friend and what he liked doing for workouts, try to make it inspired by him. I'll help you mull it up if you want.

Welll - Beowolf was quite the challenge for me Friday night but managed to finish it thanks to a lot of prodding by Jason and Brett
Finished in 54:36.

And yes, John M., I took your suggestion and did run - it wasn't pretty but I did it

As far as skydiving goes I'd be happy to babysit the cooler. But my husband I'm sure would like to join all the jumpers - he's done it a few times before and really enjoys it.
