PLEASE, folks...if you possibly can come by this afternoon around 3pm, we're having our first organizational meeting for the volunteers at the Albany Crossfiit East Coast Challenge.

Hope to see you all there....and, I wouldn't miss Fred doing FireFighter Fran for all the tea in China! I'm PSYCHED!

Hiya folks long time no post. I'll get stricter on getting after it.

So, lets see workout yesterday:

Diane 6:22, but in fairness to Jay, I subbed after the first 14 handstand pushups and he completed it as rx'd. Jay doesn't like to feel inferior. I smoked him on the deadlifts, but he aced me on the HSPUs. Between the two of us we might be as strong as Matt.

Broken up Fran......god I hate that workout.

Came in last night for giggles and got, not one, but a bevy of psuedo-muscle ups (jump assisted). Hey, those aint too hard! Ok, real from the hang muscle up is next!

At dinner (which was really frickin' fun!) I ate and ate and drank and drank and hit "Max reps of drunken foolishness". Extra special ups to Jess D. Just cause she's frickin' cool.

I know, I'm sorry. I hope that your lack of sleep doesn't mess up our training today. That would be a vicious cycle....bad sleep, bad training, I kick your butt, you don't sleep well again.....

I finally posted. I'm still working on something to say.

Kramer really blew out her back and is heavily medicated (benefits of marrying a doctor) but hopefully will be back on monday!

Good luck to Fred for doing Fran with your fire-fighter gear on! Sounds like a butt-kicker.

Whoa, tell Kramer I hope she feels better way soon and to take it easy coming back.

We had a very productive meeting today re: Albany Crossfit East Coast Challenge.

Brett's in charge of organizing the Crossfit Total event, so if you are interested in helping with that, give Brett a holler. He's the long drink of water running the show at the crack of dawn.

Ernie's looking for a co-manager of the 5k run. He'll need some help with route marshals and such, so give him a shout if you are interested in helping the run.

Jason's organizing the Hopper event, so if you are interested in helping that event run, let Jason know. Remember, even if you are competing, you can help out with something because a lot of these events will be run in heats, so can help when you are finished competing!

Finally, I need all the help I can get on the Food and Hospitality end of things. I have Camille, Dona, Jess D., Diana, Gab, Viv, and Noreen who are interested in helping. If I haven't named you and you want to help, let me know!

Very soon I'm going to convene a meeting of everybody on the Food Comm. so we can plan out what we need to serve and how to get 'er done. Watch this space, the albanycrossfit site, and the board at the gym for a date and time for the meeting.

It's really wonderful to come together as a team, not only for the competition, but also as a host organization. Thank you, everybody, for stepping up today!

Great to see you on the boards Andy!

Great Saturday afternoon class today. Nice to have Jamie, Ernie, both Jens, Luke, Niki, Jess D., Camille, Matt, John, and Brett all working hard.

John and Jamie hit Diane and both finished just past the 7 minute mark, awesome work!

Ernie, Jen S., Camille, and Jen G. hit some heavy squats, they had great form.

Niki did "Annie" but first her a HUGE PR of 15 consecutive pullups, it was crazy!

Great job to everyone, don't forget part III of our seminar tomorrow at 2pm and then Fred is doing a Firefighter Fran!

Sorry I was not able to work out or come to the meeting today,I had a bunch of mini-martial artist testing today, lots of fun. I hope Kramer feels better and thanks for the support Andy and Sue. I be"gettin' my game face on!"hope to see ya all tomorrow.
