front squat triples - wanted to stay pretty light and focused on a narrower stances, straighter feet, and for the love of all that's holy, not letting my chest drop

quick breather from work to nail down my latest goals

- recover my squatting strength. in february/march-ish, i was easily hitting 205-210lbs for a back squat triple, and heavier numbers - not necessarily easily - for singles and doubles (back squat 230x1 and 215x2; front squat 200x1 and 195x2). "recent" bests have been a 225x1 back squat and 86kg front squat, both in may. goals: (i) consistently hit what i was hitting before by 8/31, and (ii) add 5 or 10lbs to each lift by the next total in november.

- bring up both my max and consistently-made numbers for the snatch and c&j. current maxes - 51kg snatch, 67kg c&j (70kg hang c&j). consisently hit 45kg snatch, 60kg c&j (though oddly, i consistently hit 138lbs/63ishkg on the c&j when i'm working with pound plates).

- quit effing around and get a MU already

- improve bodyweight movements generally - ring dips, pistols and unbroken pull ups

225F - so weird, went down super slow and kind of sat at the bottom for 3-4 seconds before just calling it

good cue from rachel this morning about focusing on keeping my elbows under the bar instead of behind it - REALLY helped me keep my chest up and stop my hips from shooting up out of the bottom. not even mad about failing 225 because the rest of them felt so much more like they're supposed to

damper 7, kept stroke rate under 26 other than 3 power strokes at the top of each 100m

12 deadlifts - 9 hang power clean - 6 push jerk
all with 105lbs

brutal. 16:45.

improvements from the last time i did this about a year ago:

- was nearly a full round further in at the 15 minute mark
- actually finished
- did not reverse curl the bar every freakin time
- mostly remembered how to use my appendages
- sports bra remained intact
