took four days off to give my body a break. my legs were taking a beating from soccer & i think the whole 35+ team needed a break so i cancelled practice thursday & sunday

looking back at my old blog i found that this last mile run actually was a PR for this road coarse. the old mark went back to dec. 28th, 2008 with a time of 9:30. beat that time by 36 seconds!

That is an impressive mile time Ted! I am not even close to sub-9 yet. No doubt the soccer playing helps that (and vice versa). Building in some rest is a good thing too, good call there.

And, congrats on the PR on the run! Itts always worth celebrating when you can prove that you are improving!

thanks milton! yeah all the soccer & running i have been doing to rest the back has really helped. this was a pr on a road coarse & i'd like to see what i could do at the track. my old pr at the track was 8:32 which was around the time i set the pr on this road course.
