1 liter water

Lunch: Dry salad w/chicken breast, tea
Snack: Think Thin bar, triple espresso(!)
Lunch pt. 2: 3oz meat w/one egg, cashew-macadamia butter, fish oil

Post-training is always my problem time. Its usually about 9:30pm and I'm starving but eating that late is dicey. If I sit down in front of the tv/computer then I'm toast...mmm, toast.

Let's do this people!!!!
You need fat with your lunch and more protein too!! Eat real food--with, think thin bar will only spike your blood sugar to crash later. IFing is not calorie restriction! Just cause you skipped that meal, doesnt mean you dont make up the food later in day!! Read up more before you do anymore IFing!

Re: Kick The Sugar/Grains habit challenge

Hey, I like the idea of this and have significantly cut down on grains in the past week. Trying with sugar too (ie don't eat nearly as many bags of gummy bears as I used to). I'll def be checking in to see how you guys are going and will be doing my best to stick with it too. I love crunchy savoury snacks (like crackers) and have recently subsituted them with roasted chickpeas or wasabi peas - both very yummy non-grain alternatives.

Re: Kick The Sugar/Grains habit challenge

All right, I'm in. No pasta or bread in my house

Perhaps I'll start the burpee challenge midway as well . . . Though I have my own 30 day C&J challenge going . . .

My only cheat might be ZonePerfect bars--I tend to pack them on long MTB rides . . . . Guess I could eat jerky instead.

Oh man, I would like to join this, but I'm going on vacation to LA and Las Vegas in a week! I'm tempted to try, but I may just be setting myself up for failure . . .

Re: Kick The Sugar/Grains habit challenge

I just read this thread..so I'm a day late. I'd like to try it..but I have to be careful ..don't want to lose the kids or my marriage because I'm a crazy ranting raving person since I don't get my sugar. I already eat very little grains to the extent that my 7 yr old has noticed that I don't eat rice / bread anymore.

New York will be tough when I'm there for 5 days this week. But we'll see how it goes. So, I'll start tomorrow and go until the 25th (which is the first day of class as well!). I want to see how much I lean out.....

Re: Kick The Sugar/Grains habit challenge

well got thru day 1! but of course when i got home from the gym last night what is my roomate doing? making cookies!!

They looked delicious but i helds strong. This would be so much easier if i lived alone tho, lol!

and it looks like if i want to get on with the burpee challenge i got a lot of work to do today, like 210 burpees in one day thats kind of insane !
