Re: Marketing

Randy - that's just social interaction.
Same way a girl will tell a guy: "You're such a nice guy!"
Sounds nice but doesn't get you nowhere.

Website is no different.
Glad you're learning and listening!

Now, naivety as its worst.
I've learned how much I don't know faster than at any other time in my life since I came to CF and this board. Th

Thank you everyone for being patient with me and helping me, even if it was through tough love.

Re: Marketing

I am inspired to change my website within the next week. Just got to find a decent designer.

Re: Marketing

I like John's idea of finding a "game-changer". Something I have been thinking about, I just didn't know what to call it. I also have been trying to get more media coverage. I don't want to pay for "advertising" in the traditional sense.

Yes. But the beauty of it is its unobtrusiveness and its ease of use and connection to your laptop. The simpler anything is, the more likely you will do it often. Take a look at the videos on my site -- all made within the past 2 weeks with the Flip and Movie Maker.

Any camcorder will work. You just have to use it often and develop an eye for shooting and editing. And think about/focus on your members always -- even when it comes to music choice. Be smart.

It's everywhere. But the cheapest I found for the Flip Ultra was through Amazon. $131 shipped. Don't know if they still have that price but others weren't much higher. The Flip main site was $179 shipped, I believe.

The mini-tripod is great for $15. And there's a helmet mount too. Haven't tested that yet.
