Since we don't have bumper plates, I can't go much higher on this (at the moment) because the fear of dropping the weight rests too heavily on my mind... so I can't commit to really throwing the weight up.

We did this weight then I finished with 4 sets of 6 overhead squats at 135 just so I'd feel like I got an actual workout this day.

Run 5k

Somewhere south of 30 minutes... maybe 27 minutes... ran an inexact 5k with Shane from his place to the corner of Highland Ave & Bardstown Rd then back. Maintained "pose" form the entire way and didn't need to stop due to back pain, but definitely didn't feel comfortable enough to kick into a higher gear.

Last time - 11:17... not sure if I ran slower because of a wet track, or because I think I cut my recover time short last time, or because I'd run just yesterday but I didn't feel great during this run... got tired at the 3rd turn, each time, and was out of breath.

CrossFit Total
Back squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep

Squat = 325 (pr by 5lbs)
Push Press = 165 (pr by 15lbs)
Deadlift = 345 (pr by 20lbs)
Total = 835 (pr)

Depth was good on squats... back rolled and knees buckled in a little getting up the 325, but other than that one attempt everything else was good... Push Press was strong. 165 felt good, but couldn't get 170 more than 4 inches off my shoulders... Deadlift - failed twice at 345 before knocking it out on the 3rd attempt... need to watch my neck alignment and be sure to press with my heels more so I use more of my legs instead of my back.
