Wod question

Ok so today the wod was a downward ladder, 15 GTO(ground to overhead) (C&J, snatch, etc) 15 ball slams 200 meter run, 12 GTO 12 ball slams 200 meter run, 9..... (@105/65)
So Im looking at opinions, the entire GTO i was doing a clean and push press combo. I notice another member doing power snatches and thought maybe I should've done it another route. Any opinions?

Re: Wod question

IMHO, there's no single "right" answer.

My preference on GTO WODs is to snatch if it's fairly light weight, until I feel that I'm nearing a rest point. Then I move to clean & press/jerk.

Re: Wod question

similar approach as Mark, if the load is light enough to snatch it will make your cycling times faster. However if youre going to have to do them in small sets because of the weight, then it would most likely be better to move to(or even start with) clean & press/jerk.

Re: Wod question

On the 4th set (6of the GTO) I attemted the power snatch and I beleive due to fatigue I decided to stay with cleans to push press. But thanks for the opinions.
