Weightlifting Shoes

I'm looking into buying a new pair of weightlifting shoes and I was wondering what is the difference between the Do-Win Rogues and the 2008 Do-Win shoes? In some threads I've read they are practically the same shoe while in others I've read that the Rogues have a lower heel height so I'm not sure what to believe.

Also, between VS lifting shoes, 2008 Do-Wins, and Rogues what shoes would you recommend? Or is there another shoe you'd recommend over those?

Re: Weightlifting Shoes

The 2008 Do-wins and the Rogues have the same heel, and are very similar. They have a different color, and are constructed of different material, but I hink the feel of them, the durability, etc, is the same. The Rogue are Suede, which MIGHT make them a little softer, and easier to break in.

Of the shoes which lifters on our team own and wear to the gym, including 4 or 5 different types of Adidas from the brand new ones and going all the way back to the early 90's Power Perfect and Adistar shoes, Werksan shoes, Powerfirm shoes, the old Reebok shoes, examples of all 3 generations of Do-wins, some Czech manufactured shoes that none of you have ever seen, Safe brand shoes made by Red Wing boot company that arent made anymore, and probably some that I am not thinking of, the favorites and generally considered the best are...

the early 90's era white and black Adidas Adistars, and the Rogues.
