Getting used to weightlifting shoes
Ok guys, so question that I couldn't find answered in any other post.
I just bought a pair of adistar weightlifting shoes and they are gorgeous. They are also very tight, specifically in the forefoot. Now, before I work out in them and void my ability to trade them in for a larger size, just how tight should weightlifting shoes be? Do they break in and stretch? Do I just need to get used to this feeling? It's all new to me. Thanks alot! |

Where did you end up getting them and, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

Re: Getting used to weightlifting shoes
Hey guys I am trying to off-load a brand new pair of Adistars in the Box, U.S. size 13. A friend of mine asked to go in on some with me to save on the shipping, and he bailed. (Some friend) anyways I am trying to cut my losses, so let me know if any of you are interested.

Re: Getting used to weightlifting shoes
Thanks yall. I lifted in them last night and though they are indeed awful tight, man, they did great things for my form on Randy and heavy squats. They are, in short, utterly awesome! I recomend them, despite the price tag.
I got them from this place: http://www.dynamic-eleiko.com/products/adiStarFRS.html Yes, they are spendy, but after reading many an article, and bowing to Rip's superior wisdom, it felt to be an investment for years of use. Now lets just make sure I dont bonk my shoulder. |

What a shame, with membership in USAW you coulda had them for substantially less money (worthwhile if you ever plan on lifting competitively!!) |
