If you're looking into getting yourself some high quality Olympic Lifting shoes theirs a Canadian company called Power Firm Weightlifting Shoes. They custom make the shoes for you using pencil outlines. I've worn a pair that a buddy has and they were very comfortable, I've just ordered myself a pair of the model B.

They are also working on quoting me a custom pair without the raised heel. I'm all about the flat footed lifting. If anyone else is interested in the flat soled shoes I will order mine if the price is right and post pictures and vids of me lifting. I'll share as much info about the process as it comes.

Further more they offer a refund or replacement if the shoes don't fit properly and for custom made shoes they are a steal at.

Cost (taxes included)

* In Canada - $135.00 + $15.00 S+H = $150.00 Cdn

* In USA - $100.00 + $20.00 S+H = $120.00 US

I will be leaving for Nova Scotia (EAST COST) most likely on Saturday to perform a funeral parade for a friend who died today in Afghanistan. He was killed while 7 other members of my unit were severely injured today, 3 critically. All of them were his crew and all were friends of mine. I may not respond to this thread until I return which may not be for a week or so.

My condolences on losing your friends Pierre.
Was very sorry when I heard the news. Give his family the comfort they need now.

My younger brother is in 1st, somewhere in the desert right now.
