Milk - yay or nay?

Do u drink it or not? If so...frequency, pre/post workout, breakfast, before bed?

And for u paleo-ers...apologies in advance for my personal ignorance, but in the wild most (all?) species do not drink milk during adulthood. Maybe it's just a matter of accessability, but are our adult bodies properly wired for milk?

Just thinkin out loud. Appreciate any responses.

Craig, how could adult animals drink milk even if they wanted to?
The mothers only lactate following pregnancy and reserve
it for their babies.

Re: Milk - yay or nay?

It's an individual thing based on how your body handles it and what your goals are. I drank a lot of it throughout the day when I was trying to gain weight, but I haven't drank any over the last year or so. Some people think chocolate milk is a pretty good post-workout drink because of its protein and sugar.

In terms of your body being able to break it down, raw milk is usually a better way to go if it's legal and affordable where you live.

That's what i meant when i said accessability. So is being able to drink milk akin to modern medicine in that it's not natural but clearly an advantage, or are we better off sticking with water and getting milk's vitamins, nutrients and protein from other sources?

Re: Milk - yay or nay?

Conventional milk is one of the worst foods you can consume.

Raw, unpasteurized milk from grassfed cows however is a whole different story. Been drinking it for years now.

So now fruit is bad, carrots and onions are bad, and now milk is bad. Is water still ok? Glad bacon is still ok.

Re: Milk - yay or nay?

I drank almond milk for two years while I stayed away from milk. I went back to milk two months ago. only use it in my protein drinks though.
