Devastated for you and your family mate. If there is anything that Leon or I can do don't hesitate to let us know. Thinking of you my friend.

Cheers, kempie

Re: Lee Hill's log

thanks for your kind words lads.

29/10/10

2 mile swim - around 80 min, not accurately timed. Knee sore today.

Going to train this coming week as feeling sluggish, which is now contributing to my mood in a negative way.

Re: Lee Hill's log

01/11/10 - 2xwu - at CFNEE AM session

back squat to 3x132.5K - ugly heavy so knocked on head.

OHS to 5x70kg - ok

then bear complex with increasing weight, 7 reps per weight:
power clean
front squat
push press
back squat
push press

42.5/47.5/52/5 then 62.5KG PB, felt ok, could have done more but always constrained by time in AM sessions. Still good to hoy some weight about before breakfast

Re: Lee Hill's log

3/11/10 cfnee am session

3xwu

Press to 5x50k then 15x40k - first week of a press cycle. Highrep set at 45k next week.

15/12/9 25k swings, ring dips and 24"box jumps - 3:13

Lost time on last set box jumps, no pogo as legs felt leaden.

Re: Lee Hill's log

8/11/10 - CFNEE AM session

3xWU

B.squat to 5x132.5K - Leon advised working on Ab(Ad?)uctors to negate knees coming in at bottom of rep.

OHS to 3x72.5 - lost balance on 4th, wrists hurting but just getting back into it so not too bothered.

15/12/9: L/R 20KG KB swing and pull ups - 3:20 - all unbroken, fine and grippy.

9/11/10 - backyard lunchtime WOD in rain and gales - atmospheric

Barbara - 3:08/4:13/4:46/5:00/5:45 - 34:54 - 1:17 outside PB

All felt slow today. Almost puked on last round after sit ups. Only push ups broken, from second round were 5/3/2's.

Soaking wet and muddy, pleased I did it and enjoyed how sh*te conditions were.

Re: Lee Hill's log

11/11/10 - rest day, 9:30AM sports massage

Amazing - he clicked my thoracic back back in, worked left lat then rolled me over and found my left pec was super tight. Got the suction cups on the area 3 times to loosen it all up and got to work. F**k me, he got such a bit knot out, popped it upwards from my front delt tie-in, like a muscular enema.

Been applying heat since then and doing a little WOD tomorrow that doesn't mess with it, bit limited as no gym access and weather ****e - anyone got any suggestions?

Re: Lee Hill's log

You want to keep off the shoulder totally so how about a 4 x 400m runs or 3 x 800m runs with the 2 minutes rest between. Also there's the 4 rounds for time of 400m Run / 50 air squats.

I got a giant knot in my rearside, just about got it to bearable levels when I sit on the hockey ball

Re: Lee Hill's log

12/11/10 - pi**ed off run evening WOD

Busy day, got ratty. Stomped out of house and jogged for 15 min concentrating on stride, and foot strike, feeling out new trainers. Found myself at the quayside by St. Anne's steps, 100 steps in groups of 10-15 zig zagging up hill.

8x steps - fastest 28 seconds, slowest 33.

Felt good, legs and lungs burning by third round. Tried to hit every step everytime. Stopped when hip flexors started to complain, training cleverer in my old age.

Trainers felt good, will see how achilles are over weekend!

Pacey run home - 10 min increasing tempo, felt strong.
