Re: Whats next? What do you "do" with fitness?

the reasons why i take fitness seriously?
--i've only recently discovered CF, but that is no measure of how much i'm enjoying it. its something i can see myself doing for my entire life for a number of reasons.

1-i like to look and feel good, so does everyone
2-i live an active lifestyle and it gives me a huge edge when playing competitive sports. i like to win, who doesnt?
3-the main reason i've always taken care of my body. since i was little both of my parents have been extremely overweights. it's not that they eat unhealthy foods all the time like mcd's (carbs carbs carbs and carbs) but to be honest i've always been a little embarrassed.
@ my high school graduation party we had a volleyball game-graduates vs parents. and my father looked like an *** out there with an enormous stomache flaling around. dont get me wrong i love my parents, but being overweight is something i will never allow happen to me because ive seen first hand how miserable, inactive, and grumpy they are.

I always say: I'm trining for the centurion olympics.
I am 48 now so I can compansate for my lack of talent with lots of fun workouts.
I want to win in all events :-)
Learned any new sports lately? started slacklining, fun!!

It's tough, it's quick, its ready made (i.e. programmed for me), makes me feel AWESOME, and most importantly makes me better at my job.

There WILL be a day when sh*t will be on the line and I will need to marshall every ounce of physical and mental willpower to get the job done, that CrossFit happens to build most effectively for people in my field.
