Haha, yes that one has been posted many times before. If you search for "parkour" on the message boards you will get my dissertation on the meaning of Parkour and that video, etc. etc. etc. ad-nauseum :D

For any more info, you can always check out http://www.americanparkour.com, though at the moment we have the site shut down to motivate kids off the internet and out into the world for REAL experiences for a change :D We'll be back up and running at 100% (hopefully) by monday!

Jesse, next time you come to Georgetown, tell me. I live 10 seconds away from a part of that video.

We are there all the time. We're having a huge jam on Memorial Day weekend, people from all over the country are coming in and Georgetown University, along with Rosslyn/Gateway Park area are two of the main spots we have planned to visit. I'll keep you updated!

Waterskiing.

Slalom that is. Once you get yourself in that course and start chasing buoys (sp?) you'll go absolutely mad with the sport! Intense, technical, and a HELL of a workout! You really need to get ahold of some videos to see what competitive slalom skiing is like!

And for a redefinition of pulling power, when a pro clears his buoy and "cuts" to make the next one, the pulling power on the rope and the pushing power that his entrenched legs produce will actually displace the boat and drop the motor's rpm's if the driver doesn't correct!

I slalom ski off the back of my jetski and I can
practically steer the boat at 200 lbs when I make a cut.

But with the rudderless steering it's impossible to really lean into a turn and 'skim' on my shoulder.

A great whole body workout, it torches the
grip, the legs and all of your back. Good Times!

Jesse, I showed my 4 & 6 year old boys that video. Now I can't keep them off the couch, chairs, counters. Cool video.

Jesse:

My 14 year old and I watched the video and went to your site. Wow! Way cool stuff. Think you may have a new recruit.
